No. Succession membership is discretionary and extended by invitation. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance or membership.

Applications are reviewed for character, contribution, participation, alignment and impact. Succession considers professional experience, leadership, discretion, interests, relationships and potential contribution to the society.
Do I Need A Referral?
A referral is helpful but not required. Applicants may apply directly, although referred candidates may include the name of the member or person who introduced them to Succession.
Is Succession Only For Founders?
No. Succession is not a startup community. Membership includes individuals from business, investment, family enterprise, private capital, executive leadership, advisory, ownership and governance.
What Happens If I Am Accepted?
Accepted applicants receive a private membership invitation, complete onboarding and may be introduced to relevant Peer Advisory Rooms, Open Chair Sessions, curated introductions, opportunities and member experiences.
Are Applications Confidential?
Yes. Applications are reviewed privately and treated with discretion. Succession is designed around confidentiality, trusted relationships and respect for member privacy.
